People are constantly wondering about the state of work-life balance, and there’s no doubt that the line between personal life and work life is blurring. This is why we are now hearing so much about work-life integration where you bring your life with you to work and your work home with you.
So, does work-life balance really exist?
Being able to maintain work-life balance gives you an opportunity to give due attention where it is required. Whilst occasional stress is normal for every job, burnouts are certainly not.
There is no secret to this that
when we run down, stressed and tired, our immune system is the one to suffer.
The fact that stress can impact from less serious condition of flu to the most
serious illness of respiratory or digestive problems hence it is all the more
important to maintain work-life balance.
